Job Description

As a Digital Experience Designer, you will contribute to delivering exceptional digital experiences by supporting the design and implementation of user-centred solutions. Working closely with our design and cross-functional teams, you'll help craft intuitive, engaging, and accessible interfaces and journeys that align with business objectives and user needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your design skills, collaborate with clients, and be a key part of our innovative Digital Design Team. 

What You'll Do 

Design Expertise: 

  • Foundational knowledge of UX/UI principles and methodologies. 

  • Hands-on experience with design tools for creating prototypes and design systems. 

  • Understanding of Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and Visual Design. 

  • Experience with usability testing, user research, and analysis of insights to inform design decisions. 

  • Familiarity with workshop facilitation techniques and agile design processes. Assist in user journey mapping, wireframing, and prototyping to support the design process. 

  • Develop low-fidelity prototypes and interface designs working independently under the guidance of senior designers. 

  • Apply UX/UI frameworks such as Design Thinking and Lean UX to create user-centric solutions. 

User Research & Testing:

  • Support the setup and facilitation of user research workshops, ensuring valuable insights are gathered. 

  • Conduct usability testing sessions and synthesize findings to inform design iterations. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate research insights into actionable design improvements. 

Collaboration & Communication: 

  • Articulate design concepts and solutions clearly to both internal and client stakeholders. 

  • Work within cross-functional teams, contributing to discussions and design solutions. 

  • Collaborate with FE and BE developers in design to developer hand over processes – communicating and quality checking what is being built. 

  • Prepare client-facing workshop materials using tools such as Miro, Mural, and PowerPoint. 

  • Use AI technologies to assist with administrative tasks and for idea generation/innovation. 

Innovation & Business Development: 

  • Offer creative ideas in client discussions and internal projects. 

  • Support senior team members in design initiatives and client proposals. 

  • Contribute to business development activities and bids. 

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • A proactive and enthusiastic Digital Hybrid Experience Designer (User Experience, User Interface, User Research) with a passion for creating user-centred designs. 

  • Comfortable working across all PA industries including Consumer & Manufacturing, Public Sector, Defence & Security, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Transport 

  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills to articulate design decisions effectively. 

  • Ability to work independently on design tasks while seeking guidance when needed. 

  • A keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and peers. 

  • Eagerness to contribute to internal digital design initiatives and stay updated with industry trends.

Hybrid Working 

We believe in collaboration and are guided by our client's work and needs; however, we value flexibility too. Our hybrid working model lets you balance work and life, with most roles requiring at least three days a week in the office or on client sites. Your schedule will be shaped by your role, team needs, and discussions with your manager to ensure the right mix of face-to-face and independent work. 

Our Recruitment Process: What to Expect 

Our interview process is designed to get you meeting number of people across the team you'll work in, and apply your designs and consultancy skills 

First-Stage Interview (45 mins) 

Our initial interview is a conversational 45-minute session aimed at understanding your background and experience. You'll have the opportunity to discuss a recent project, showcasing your approach and process. 

Portfolio Review (45 mins) 

During the portfolio review, you'll present 2-3 projects to members of our team. Walk us through how you tackled each project, the decisions you made, and the impact of your work. We want to understand your process and how you operate. 

Making a Decision 

After the interview process, our hiring team will convene to discuss feedback and make a final decision. We strive to get back to you as quickly as possible. 

Our recruitment process typically takes around three to four weeks. You will have a dedicated member of our Talent team to support you throughout the journey.
