More about the role:
In Studio, we create ideas and bring them to life. We’re a multi-disciplined team, creating content for integrated marketing campaigns, brand experiences and brand identity. We currently have a team of around 40; a mix of Creatives, Brand and Digital Designers, Editors, Animators and Content Producers, and Creative Project Managers, supplemented by freelancers when specialist skills are needed, or workloads dictates.

What you'll do: 
As a Digital Designer you will have 3+ years of solid experience in an agency or in-house, where your focus has been primarily digital based design work.
You have a keen interest in brands and communication with strong craft skills and a proven experience of seeing your ideas brought to life through digital channels; from website and microsite creations, to social first content. You are pro-active and ambitious with a desire to push forward ideas and work into senior colleagues as part of a creative team. You have a broad outlook in your creative approach and a willingness to develop work across multiple channels and hone your craft. Your passion is digital, and you are constantly on the lookout for new trends that you can bring into your work to keep it fresh and up with latest techniques.
You’ll have the ability to craft ideas and digital design to brief, whilst working into senior colleagues. You’ll be confident in helping to evolve projects from discovery to planning phases (incl. sitemap and wireframing), right through to UX/UI design and prototyping within Figma and/or Adobe XD. All design aspects and elements produced should be delivered as a final product that meets the clients desired level of expectations.
You’ll have a good level of confidence with presenting your ideas and designs to internal stakeholders and clients. With the ability to take on board feedback and respond accordingly. We want to see your passion for design and creativity, for you to explore the creative world around you, and to be always on the lookout for what’s hot and what’s not.

Being a Digital Designer, you’ll be expected to work collaboratively with other creatives, from animators through to developers. You will have an understanding of the processes involved in website production & be comfortable in being able to own the creative stages within. The devil is in the detail, and you’ll be expected to be thorough, articulate and well organised – competent when it comes to managing your own time, working and clear in communicating back to project managers in order to deliver.

  • Creatively have the skill and imagination to produce original and outstanding work.
  • You have graphic design and typography skills, well versed knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and ideally some motion experience.
  • Able to come up with and develop your own ideas.
  • Ability to work with and collaborate with other members of the creative team.
  • Ability to take supportive and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to organise ideas and work with senior colleagues to produce client facing presentations that tell a clear visual story.
  • Always be on the hunt for inspiration with a desire to educate yourself on emerging trends and skills (i.e.; use of A.I. to help further briefs).
  • Passionate, curious, and obsessive about the detail.
  • You have a good level of confidence and ability to present ideas and concepts in an articulate and engaging manne

Commercial:

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to organise your day and manage your time effectively.
  • Able to estimate your and manage your time accurately for budgeting purposes.
  • Understand the website production lifecycle and how your work will feed into the wider project.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Packed with initiative, accountable and highly dependable.

People & Culture:

  • Take direction from your line manager constructively and remain ready to learn.
  • Actively support the creative processes and take pride in the work.
  • Support Burson cultural initiatives such as Equall, Roots, Parent network and Big Night
    In etc.

We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s. .
