Who we areAbout Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

EMEA Demand Generation is a team of marketers and channel specialists that drive strategies to engage prospects and customers and generate demand for our prioritised solutions. We partner closely with global and regional Campaigns, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales teams to bring full-funnel campaigns to life, optimise performance, and drive business impact. Our team works across all customer segments, and at each stage of the customer lifecycle journey.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for an experienced digital demand generation marketer to build and activate the EMEA playbook for driving cross-segment, top of funnel demand using scaled online and account-based marketing motions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving regional demand channels such as, but not limited to, content syndication, direct buys, and ABM technology, and you will partner with performance marketers and agencies to deliver and optimise campaigns across online channels including SEO and paid media, in English-speaking and non-English-speaking EMEA markets.

This role requires a highly collaborative individual who thinks both strategically and tactically to get things done. It is a business critical role and a great opportunity to build and have an impact across our GTM organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the EMEA playbook for contact acquisition and demand generation using scaled online and account-based marketing motions, strategically optimising existing channels and identifying opportunities to test and integrate new channels.
  • Own the EMEA strategy to land global campaigns locally, prioritising campaign content and assets in line with local customer journeys, coordinating campaign activation with demand marketers and field marketers.
  • Own, launch and continually optimise regional channels such as content syndication, regional direct buys, and ABM technology (Demandbase), in order to drive contact acquisition and top of funnel demand.
  • Partner with internal and external performance media experts (paid social, paid search, SEO) to traffic, implement, and optimise paid and organic digital marketing programs.
  • Track, measure, and communicate campaign results, continually optimising for efficiency and scale, and seeking to generate new global best practices through experimental efforts.
  • Continually collect feedback from relevant partners to understand performance needs and refine strategies for relevance and impact.
  • Engage with sales stakeholders to review performance and validate priority investment areas quarterly.
  • Develop trusted relationships with cross-functional peers locally and globally to help augment the efforts of a lean regional team.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant demand generation and performance marketing experience.
  • Deep understanding of paid and organic digital marketing, marketing automation, account-based marketing, and lead management. Agency and in-house experience is a plus!
  • Proven track record of driving top-of-funnel demand and contact acquisition in EMEA markets.
  • Proven track record of mapping out and executing an end-to-end, multi-channel customer journey plan.
  • B2B marketing experience owning a regional demand generation strategy across multiple countries, customer segments, and products.
  • Proven track record of defining and executing cross-functional programs that deliver against funnel metrics and KPIs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex topics with simplicity.
  • Superb organization and project management skills and the capacity to manage multiple complex projects at once.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization.
  • A startup mentality with a bias to action and the ability to flex in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful, creative and dedicated to achieving operational and creative excellence.

Preferred qualifications

  • Varied background across marketing disciplines such as integrated marketing, campaigns, field marketing, retention strategy, and performance marketing.
  • Experience delivering tailored marketing content and experiences for customer segments spanning from early stage startups to the largest enterprise companies.
  • Experience marketing cloud services and/or software solutions.
  • Understanding of the payments, financial technology, and/or ecommerce industries and partner ecosystems.
