Overview

The Digital Assets Product Management team is responsible for product management across 3 streams:  the Swift Ledger – a new blockchain-based infrastructure for the Swift community; Connector – capabilities to enable transaction orchestration across digital platforms; and the Digital Asset Standardization Platform – a product intended to accelerate adoption of digital ledger technology by introducing standardization of digital assets at a business level.

The Digital Assets Payments Product Manager reports to the Digital Ledger Lead in the Digital Assets Product Management team.

As product manager you will work with the rest of the team to identify and elaborate payments use-cases for digital assets; stakeholder these with prospective bank users, define product business requirements and features to realize these use-cases and work with delivery teams to ensure timely delivery

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Management
  • Identify and validate payments use-cases in collaboration with customer working groups.
  • Prepare and present material for customer working groups and collect feedback.
  • Formulate and document business functional requirements in line with Swift internal standards and methodology.
  • Work with engineering teams and/or third-party vendors to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Work with Standards team to identify and implement any required standards changes or developments.
  • Work with team-lead and internal stakeholders to bring initial product successfully to market.
Strategic planning
  • Contribute to the development of the team’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement in the product management function.
Team collaboration
  • Work closely with other teams and tribes to ensure cohesive and unified project execution.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges within and beyond the team, promoting positive and productive interactions and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University degree in business or engineering discipline.
  • Deep, practitioner-level understanding of payments transactions, business processes and industry business models, ideally gained in a bank setting.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
