The role of the Market Development Specialist is to Increase the market penetration of Medtronic Insertable Cardiac Monitors in the Syncope & Cryptogenic Stroke patient populations. This role focuses on removing the barriers that Healthcare providers and patients currently face when trying to access this technology.
We would like you to be located in Northwest part of the UK so you have easy access to your clients.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

  • Remove capacity barriers to expanding Insertable Cardiac Monitors (ICM) in hospitals.
  • Increase funding for Language Integrated Query (LINQ) service growth (support hospital business cases, Health Economic arguments)
  • Develop regional Syncope & Stroke education and awareness campaigns (symposiums, 3rd party sponsorship, local expert group meetings)
  • Expand local Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships 
  • Execute formal referral pathways for syncope with A&E, Acute Medicine, Cardiology
  • Partner with Cardiac Rhythm Management Territory managers, Technical Consultants and District managers to ensure execution of Cardiac Diagnostics & Services projects

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • University graduate or similar health care qualification
  • Lateral thinker – creative, problem solving, dynamic
  • Multiple stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Delivering and Developing Economic Value to Health care systems 
  • Strong NHS knowledge, funding and reimbursement 
  • Driving license
