We're seeking a Team Lead to help guide our Cloud Engineering and DevOps team in EMEA. You would come from either a DevOps or Cloud Architect background with team lead experience. With a desire to stay hands on.

We're seeking a Team Lead to help guide our Cloud Engineering and DevOps team in EMEA. You would come from either a DevOps or Cloud Architect background with team lead experience.

For this role, we ask that you can demonstrate:
- Strong leadership qualities that enable you to work well with other teams and help establish your own highly engaged and performant team
- Strong sense of ownership and “the buck stops with us” mentality.
- Excellent knowledge around infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code and current tooling to support the management and orchestration of AWS and Cloud Architecture
- Excellent knowledge of Cloud services including CDN’s, Lambda/Serverless, EC2, ECS, IAM, Terraform/Cloudformation/CDK
- Strong understanding of what Observability means
- That you have worked with product teams before, and understand CI/CD processes to help create robust internal methodologies
- Strong understanding of DevOps as a culture and what site reliability is and how it can improve end users experience while empowering the team
What you would do:
- You would lead our EMEA team consisting of DevOps Engineers, looking after their individual growth
- You will work with the other Team Leads globally to ensure we have a consistent approach to how we support our platforms in AWS and ensure they are highly available, scalable and secure
- You will still be hands on, being able to roll up your sleeves as needed with the team and assist in architectural design of our platforms
Location: London but will consider Edinburgh (with ability to access the office 1-2 times per week)
