About NexGen Cloud

NexGen Cloud is building the next generation of GPU-powered Cloud Infrastructure, powering Machine Learning, AI, and High-Performance Computing workloads with scalable compute and developer platforms. Our products are HyperStack, GenAI, and open-source infrastructure tooling like our Terraform Provider and SDKs that are helping to shape the future of modern AI-first infrastructure.

We are looking for a proactive, highly organized Release Manager who can bring structure, coordination, and a quality-first mindset to our release cycles.

Role Overview

As Release Manager at NexGen Cloud, you’ll be the central point of coordination for all product and platform releases. From internal tooling to our major products like HyperStack, GenAI, Terraform Provider, and SDKs, you will ensure everything is on track, tested, documented, communicated, and released smoothly and consistently.

You will work closely with DevOps, Engineering, Product, QA, and Marketing teams to ensure each release is successful, stable, and aligned with the company’s roadmap and SDE lifecycle. You’ll also contribute to post-release communication and support, acting as the go-to person for release status and coordination.

This is a cross-functional and technical role ideal for someone who understands the engineering process, is comfortable managing timelines and priorities, and thrives on keeping all teams aligned and informed.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of the release management process for all NexGen Cloud products.

  • Coordinate and lead release planning meetings with Engineering, Product, QA, and Marketing teams.

  • Create and maintain release schedules, ensuring visibility across all stakeholders.

  • Ensure release notes, changelogs, documentation, and announcements are completed in time.

  • Track and verify test coverage, quality gates, and that all checkboxes are met for a successful release.

  • Own and manage the release checklist, including deployment prep, tagging, maintenance windows, and rollback plans.

  • Collaborate with DevOps to plan and support production deployments, hotfixes, and release patching.

  • Serve as a project coordinator across engineering teams to ensure deliverables are ready and in line with roadmap milestones.

  • Work with the Product and Marketing teams to align feature rollouts and communication.

  • Be the go-to person for answering: “What’s shipping, when, and is it ready?”

  • Build a culture of reliable, repeatable, and documented release processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in release management, DevOps coordination, or technical program/project management.

  • Strong understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle), CI/CD, and release workflows.

  • Comfortable working with Git, release branches, tagging, and basic deployment workflows.

  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and coordination abilities.

  • Technical aptitude—able to understand what’s being released and flag risks or gaps.

  • Experience coordinating between technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., marketing, product, QA).

  • Prior experience working with cloud-native, infrastructure, or DevOps-heavy environments is a big plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, and SDK/CLI tooling.

  • Experience in writing or reviewing release notes, change logs, and customer-facing documentation.

  • Exposure to project management tools like Jira(Preferred).

  • Experience with agile software delivery utilizing Kanban/Scrum.

  • Understanding of technical incident management or hotfix coordination.

Why Join Us

  • Be a central player in launching cutting-edge infrastructure and AI products.

  • Join a passionate, fast-moving team operating at the forefront of cloud innovation.

  • Work with multiple teams and grow your leadership in product delivery and coordination.

  • Make a tangible impact across engineering, product, and customer experience.

  • Enjoy a flexible remote work environment, global teammates, and a collaborative culture.
