The DevOps Engineer will design and maintain a scalable payment cloud platform, collaborate on integration, automate infrastructure, and optimize performance.
We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time B2B remote basis, working with one of the largest payment processing companies in the market , a leading fintech player powering high-volume, mission-critical payment platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and highly reliable payment cloud platform (with a planned migration to GCP), supporting a large-scale payment ecosystem
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient deployment of new features and updates in a high-throughput environment
- Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes to support critical financial infrastructure
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize platform performance to ensure high availability, resilience, and security for payment systems operating at scale
- Continuously enhance delivery processes and tooling to accelerate time to market in a fast-moving fintech environment
- Participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring timely resolution of production incidents impacting live payment operations
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP or AWS, along with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Solid understanding of the Java and Spring ecosystem
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK
- Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins
- Experience in building and maintaining payment platforms is considered a strong advantage, especially in high-volume transaction environments
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact, deadline-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Residence within the EU and eligibility to work on a B2B basis
