DevOps Engineer

The Role
The IT team at Pepperstone engineer, support and maintain all the IT critical systems for our business. The IT team is made up of a number of key functions (chapters) that provide the technical services to the business, including QA, Engineering, Data, Security, Operations, Portfolio Management and Development Operations. This role will provide support for the Development Operations function within the business and drive development operations standards and practices across the organisation. In addition to this, the DevOps Engineer supports the architecture, engineering and security chapters within the business.

The role reports to the Team Lead based in Cyprus. Our team is made up of individuals from all walks of life, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives that enrich our work and culture. Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing Development Operations standards around all major assets
• Participating in Architecture Reviews and Security audits
• Contributing to the improvement of development operations processes
• Working with the product team to ensure that requirements are clearly defined

About You

• Previous experience in Fintech, specifically in Trading platforms and architectures
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Blue/Green Deployment, Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform)
• Deep knowledge of the AWS technology stack
• Strong experience in agile development
• The ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and adjust communication style accordingly
