Flow Traders is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a newly formed team focusing on Deep Learning research and model-based trading. This is an opportunity to join a greenfield project and have an impact on a wide range of technology decisions and design choices. The ideal candidate would be driven by a start-up environment and should be excited to learn and work across all parts of the project.
What you will do
- Lead the design and roll-out of cloud environments
- Consult with research and development teams to select, integrate and manage third party software and services
- Pro-actively monitor the efficiency and security of our IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with research engineers to adapt, extend and improve the research platform
- Be the go-to person for development automation
What you need to succeed
- 5+ years in a relevant role, preferably with BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS
- Proficiency in automation/scripting, infrastructure as code and CI/CD
- Prior experience working in a trading environment is highly preferred
- Deep understanding of operating systems, networking, containerization and operations
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience with Machine Learning tooling and services
