As a Development Manager, you’ll lead software development teams to deliver impactful solutions, collaborating closely with the TA, Product Owner, and other stakeholders. You’ll drive iterative and incremental progress while managing dependencies and schedules across technical teams, ensuring smooth delivery and measurable business outcomes.
Partnering with Team Leads and your peers, you’ll identify strategic opportunities for improvement and turn them into actionable plans, fueling meaningful change across the organization.
Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing our ambitious engineering Platform product. By transforming it into a powerful self-service tool, you’ll empower engineering, content, and operations teams to streamline their workflows and achieve more.

What You'll Do

  • Manage delivery and releases in your teams
  • Champion Agile development and software engineering best practices
  • Own and communicate the capture of delivery metrics and work with your teams to use these to improve delivery
  • Continuous improvement of the tools and processes used by the team
  • Plan and communicate delivery milestones
  • Lead recruitment activity for your teams
  • Work with your teams using Agile principles to ensure that delivery commitments are met
  • Work with other teams to deliver cross functional stories and resolve issues
  • Facilitate progression of team members
  • Work to retain key team members
  • Keep development teams well informed

  • Communicates clearly to various levels; developers, managers and business stakeholders
