The opportunity. 

Developer Productivity Engineers play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of teams within our R&D department. This is a unique opportunity to impact the entire software development lifecycle by designing and implementing tools, systems, and processes that empower developers to deliver high-quality software faster and with greater confidence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and introduce automation where it matters most. Your work will be critical in reducing build times, increasing code quality, and ensuring that our teams can focus on what they do best—writing great code. 

Requirements

What you’ll be doing. 

  • CI/CD pipeline management and ownership 
  • Time/resource usage optimization 
  • Support, streamline and challenge established and implement new SDLC workflows 
  • Shorten development feedback cycle 
  • Provide self-service facilities at the disposal of developers 

What you’ll bring. 

  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. 
  • Proven ability to debug and resolve unfamiliar and complex technical problems. 
  • Strong background in software development, with proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Scala, Python, Java). 
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
