Position Overview

Tencent Cloud International & Smart Industries Group (CSIG) is seeking a Developer Marketing & Ecosystem Manager based in London to support the growth of Tencent Cloud’s developer ecosystem and global marketing initiatives.

In this role, you will focus on planning and executing developer engagement programs, working closely with HQ product and product marketing teams, research and analyst teams, as well as regional marketing and sales teams. You will help amplify Tencent Cloud’s developer tools and solutions, drive awareness and adoption, and grow our developer ecosystem.

You will also support the execution of key international marketing events, contributing to developer engagement and business growth across regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Developer Marketing & Ecosystem Development

  • Plan and execute developer engagement programs to grow Tencent Cloud’s developer ecosystem

  • Work closely with product, product marketing, and research teams to promote developer tools (APIs, SDKs, platforms) and drive adoption

  • Identify key developer segments and tailor engagement approaches based on developer behavior, platforms, and regional insights

  • Build and support developer communities, including both third-party platforms (e.g., GitHub, Discord, etc.) and Tencent Cloud’s own developer programs

  • Support initiatives such as hackathons, meetups, workshops, and content programs to engage developers and increase participation

  • Contribute to messaging and positioning aligned with AI and cloud technology trends

2. Field Marketing & Event Execution

  • Support the planning and execution of international events, including trade shows, exhibitions, and developer-focused activities

  • Coordinate with regional marketing, sales, and HQ teams to ensure smooth execution

  • Support event content preparation, onsite delivery, and post-event follow-up

  • Help drive developer engagement, lead generation, and ecosystem growth through events

Who We Look For

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in developer marketing, ecosystem programs, or B2B tech marketing

  • Strong understanding of developer audiences, platforms, and community dynamics

  • Familiarity with developer ecosystems (e.g., GitHub, open-source communities, developer forums)

  • Technically savvy, with good understanding of cloud technologies and AI landscape

  • Experience in event marketing or program execution is a strong plus

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate stakeholders and coordinate resources effectively

  • Experience working across regions and cultures in a global organization

Language & Location

  •  Based in London

  •  Fluent English is required

  •  Mandarin is highly preferred for collaboration with HQ teams

  •  Additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese) are a plus
