Desktop Support Engineer
Edenred PayTech | London or Swindon (Hybrid/WFH)

Salary - £30,000 - £35,000

 

Edenred PayTech is looking for a proactive and customer‑focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our Technology Operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting colleagues, and keeping systems running smoothly in a fast‑paced, regulated fintech environment.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our people have the tools, access, and technology they need to perform at their best.

  • Deliver first‑ and second‑line support across hardware, software, and user access
  • Troubleshoot Windows, O365, networking, and device issues with confidence
  • Manage laptop builds, imaging, and device lifecycle tasks
  • Support onboarding and offboarding including account setup and equipment provisioning
  • Maintain accurate asset records and documentation
  • Collaborate with wider IT teams to escalate issues and support project delivery
  • Champion great customer service and help drive continuous improvement
What you’ll bring

You’ll be someone who enjoys variety, communicates clearly, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • Experience in a desktop or service desk support role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, O365, Active Directory, and basic networking
  • Confidence supporting hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tickets in a busy environment
  • A customer‑first mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a regulated or corporate environment is beneficial
