The Role

LiveScore group is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our growing team. The desktop support team is the main point of contact for local and remote employees. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of ownership and broad problem-solving experience. Key Responsibilities

  • First and second line support of windows and mac systems.
  • Proactively monitoring system and network health. Identifying potential changes and improvements.
  • Provide first-line support for AV equipment in meeting rooms, including troubleshooting video conferencing, display, and audio issues.
  • Own employee onboarding and offboarding, as well as the IT stock required.
  • Directly interact with users and stakeholders at every level of the business.
  • Create, delete, deprovision and maintain user, system and groups in Active Directory. 
  • Application support of all IT systems, such as Office365, SCCM, JAMF, SSO, AD, etc.
  • Educate end users on IT best practises, cyber security, and self-service tools.
  • Contribute towards the IT knowledge base and mentoring others within the team.
  • Participate in the team rota by covering one weekly shift per month, ensuring consistent support and coverage across operational hours.

 Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven extensive commercial desktop support experience, supporting multiple end users  
  • Experience configuring, installing and troubleshooting Windows, Mac, Printers, WiFi, physical network.
  • Hands on experience in AD, Office365, SCCM, JAMF, VMWare, Okta, OneLogin, DNS, DHCP.
  • Previous experience working in an engineering environment is highly beneficial.
  • Customer-focused, innovating to meet the customers needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent team player attitude.
  • Strong, dynamic character, capable of dealing effectively with colleagues and business users. Prior exposure to a constantly evolving environment.

Desired:

  • Exposure to GCP, AWS, Azure.
  • Exploration of AI systems.
  • Possess one or more of the following certifications is desired:
    • Apple Certified Support Professional.
    • CompTIA Security+
    • CompTIA Network+
    • CCNA
    • CompTIA A+
    • MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7, 10
    • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Windows 7, 10
    • Enterprise Desktop Support technician on Windows 7, 10
