monday.com is a Work OS that lets organizations manage all their work in one place. And like our platform, we are committed to building an organization with one shared mission.

We believe that the most effective teams are built on skills and passion, which is why, in our recruitment process, in addition to learning about your background and experience, we really want to understand who you are and what empowers you.

About The Role:

Run our design operations as smooth as a designer’s bezier curve. Be the glue and the grease.

Are you the kind of person who loves the smell of a well-organised team in the morning? Do you get a thrill when all the design systems are speeding up delivery and designers can focus on inventing the next great thing? If you answered “yes” (and we hope you did), keep reading, because we might just have the perfect role for you!

We’re looking for a Leader of Design Operations to join our growing product design teams in London and Tel Aviv. The team is currently over 60 people and will be over 100 by the end of 2025, with a special focus on London. Your mission is to make sure we onboard the best talent, set everyone up for success, and ensure everyone can do the best work of their lives, while having a life.

1. Hands on Operational Maestro (Get Stuff Done)

• Build, maintain, and optimise processes that keep our design teams humming along like a well-tuned piano.

• Manage design critiques to ensure everyone is aligned with clear actions, and can demonstrate improvement with every critique

• Create tracking metrics, with meaningful dashboards and insights that give leadership full visibility as to what's going on down to the details - luckily, you'll be using Monday's own product which will make things easier!

• Keep the design teams across London and Tel Aviv in sync with OKRs, so we’re all moving f, even if we’re separated by a couple of time zones and the Mediterranean Sea.

2. Investor in Invention (How our Work Drives Business Value)

• Protect Designers time and creative freedoms to invent, through aligned processes in product teams

• Facilitate communication and collaboration, ensuring no brilliant ideas get lost in translation (or on a Zoom call).

3. Champion of Healthy Cross-Functional Relationships (How we Work Together)

• Foster strong, collaborative relationships between design, product, and engineering teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on shared goals.

• Act as the go-between for teams to resolve conflicts, untangle miscommunications, and clear roadblocks that might slow down our creative momentum. You’re like the team therapist, but without the couch.

4. Support Autonomy, Drive Excellence (How you Operate)

• While you don’t need to be a Design System or Motion Design specialist, you’ll ensure these teams have the autonomy they need to innovate, while keeping them on track to deliver their best work.

• Provide the operational frameworks and support that allow these teams to shine, without micromanaging their creative genius. You know when to step in and when to let them run free (within reasonable deadlines, of course).

Design Operations Lead

Requirements

A 'Just-Enough-Process-Lover' with Personality: You love structure but know how to keep it flexible, just enough process to not stifle and grind things to halt. You find joy in eliminating blockers and seeing your team’s potential unlocked. (Also, you’ve got some good GIF game for Slack convos.)

Design Ops Experience: You’ve led Design Operations before and have experience managing complex workflows across multiple teams and locations.

Systems Built for Quality and Speed: You’ve worked on design systems, and understand how to scale them in a way that keeps the design and development teams consistent and productive.

Great taste: You don’t need to be a designer, but you must know what great looks like and know how to support a team that’s always pushing the boundaries of UI, interaction and motion.

Superhuman can-do Communication Skills: We work hard and aim high with a smile on our faces, but we like to have fun while we’re doing it. If you can crack a joke while explaining a Gantt chart, we’re all ears.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

The Team: You’ll be joining a team of passionate, creative people who are as serious about their work as they are about finding the best places to eat.

The Growth: With a design team growing rapidly, this is your chance to own and lead design operations.

The Impact: We’re a public international SaaS business growing +40% each year, and what we build matters. Your work will directly contribute to the success of products used by millions of users.

The Benefits: Great package, hybrid work, a great creative and collaborative office environment in London, and the occasional trip to Tel Aviv for the world’s best hummus.

If you’re ready to join a team where design ops is just as exciting as the creative side (we know you’re out there!), we’d love to hear from you. Apply now, and let’s build something amazing together!

Note: Applicants who include their favorite emoji in their cover letter get bonus points.
