Role Purpose

As the Design Director at Dentsu Creative, you will report to the Creative Director of Design and play a crucial role in shaping the creative vision and strategy for Adobe, an exciting client known for its innovative communications. This design-centric position involves leading a talented team of designers and production professionals, ensuring the cohesive application of creative standards across various platforms and touchpoints. You will foster a culture of creativity that significantly enhances the quality and impact of design projects while aligning with brand objectives and client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Mentor and manage a team, nurturing a collaborative and creative environment while effectively managing resources.

  • Project Management: Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.

  • Creative Direction: Provide creative direction and guidance to the team, ensuring consistency and quality in all outputs, including motion and digital direction.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

  • Communication and Presentation: Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, articulating design concepts and strategies effectively.

  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design challenges, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.

  • Technical Proficiency: Maintain proficiency in relevant design software and tools to drive high-quality outcomes.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored design solutions.

  • Strategic Thinking: Think strategically about design, aligning creative endeavors with business goals and the overall brand vision.

What you bring

  • Extensive experience in design, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative projects.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express, Firefly, After Effects) and skilled in Figma.

  • In-depth knowledge of production processes and best practices.

  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.

  • Comprehensive understanding of brand strategy and market trends.

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
