Derivatives Data & Technical Oversight Analyst

This is a great job for someone who has a good understanding of the investment management business, fund structures and processes.

A bit about the job:

The purpose of the Derivatives Data analyst is to provide Derivative set up support to the Aladdin user community. The role reduces the risk of incorrect set up of derivative assets that may lead to valuation and/or cash flow errors which in turn may result in incorrect investment decisions. The role is critical in supporting the OTC trade booking for complex assets or trades by providing Aladdin expertise before, during or after the trade execution. The role extends to supporting the onboarding of new OTC instruments on Aladdin by engaging with internal Aladdin SME or BlackRock Solutions directly along with providing support to the wider Technical Oversight team. You will also provide subject matter expertise to the Aladdin User community (with reference to front office, trading and investment risk) to ensure complex derivative instruments are set up correctly in Aladdin.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Aladdin experience related to OTC security set up and maintenance.

  • Previous exposure to Bloomberg, Reuters is essential.

  • Enthusiasm for, and comfort with, working in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining the quality and integrity of the investment data and working to tight deadlines.

  • IAQ and/or IMC would be advantageous.

  • Aladdin ANSER experience
