Job Details
This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
In this role you will be supporting the creation of roadmaps including the shaping of a pipeline of projects, the primary purpose of this role is to take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful delivery of both Waterfall and Agile projects, products and/or services within a defined timeline, scope and budget, ensuring they meet quality standards.
You will co-ordinate cross-functional teams, collaborating to ensure alignment with organisational goals, whilst driving continuous improvement in delivery processes. You will facilitate project meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other delivery ceremonies as needed. You'll also provide coaching and guidance to team members to promote high performance and extreme accountability.
Working in a squad-based team, aligned to an organisational Value Stream, you will be responsible for managing project teams in a matrixed environment whilst managing Risks and Issues across multiple workstreams. You will also act as a key point of contact for Stakeholders across all levels, ensuring clear communication and alignment on delivery objectives, managing their expectations and providing regular updates. You will address escalations and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.

  • Has strong planning skills including critical path and dependency management
  • Has strong influencing, communication and presentation skills including promotion of best practice and adherence to governance
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and their practical application.
  • Strong grasp of project management frameworks (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and tools like DevOps, JIRA, KeyedIn, or MS Project
  • Experience of identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to delivery timelines and quality
  • Adept at navigating complex organisational structures and managing competing priorities to achieve common goals
  • Demonstrates effective communication by being able to summarise detailed information in such a way as to facilitate quick decision making and manage Stakeholder expectations, using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Can work with all levels of senior management including the Executive Leadership Team
