JOB PURPOSE:

To work as a member of the Delegated Underwriting Post Bind Team to Deliver:-

  • Manage the Post Bind Delegated Underwriting team in conjunction with oversight from the Head of Delegated Underwriting Operations.
  • Management of Delegated Underwriting metrics and dashboard reports for Underwriting Committees and Contract Oversight Committees for Everest International.
  • Attend Oversight Committees, and present when required.
  • Manage the Profit Commission process on binders for Everest International.
  • Management of Employers Liability Tracing Office audits.
  • Management for External Party auditors of DUA Operations.
  • Management, Analysis and Production when required of EPI review Process
  • Manage and administer DUA Facility Audit Plans and Processes, in conjunction with the Head of DUA Technical.
  • Management of Scorecard/Fair Value Assessment and Product Universe. Integral to design, enhancements and administration of the business wide requirements.
  • Day to Day contact person for MIB (ELTO)Management including, production and analysis when required.
  • Production of data for regulatory and internal reporting when required

KEY ACCOUNTABILIES:

  • Manage a sub team within the Delegated Underwriting Post-Bind Team.
  • To partner and provide regular, including ad-hoc M I reporting to other DU team members or key stakeholders to enrich key performance indicators for Overview Committees, as required.
  • To manage the administration and maintenance of Scorecard/Fair Value Assessment/Product Universe data and to manage all development requests emanating from business stakeholders.
  • Manage and administer when required Conduct Risk management information for the Product Oversight Group, Underwriting Committee and business users as required.
  • Manage and work in partnership with other DU team members to produce, report and solve data queries emanating from Third Party Bordereaux Administrators, Internal and External Stakeholders. Perform regular reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy of underwriting data for use in financial reporting.
  • Work in partnership with business stakeholders to manage, analyse and administer Everest’s EPI evaluation programme to ensure correct and orderly administration of EPI adjustments are made and to record all adjustments centrally and accurately for future audit scrutiny. To additionally ensure that all signatory parties have provided authorisation to any EPI changes and to ensure colleagues outside of the DU team have applied resultant changes correctly within required timescales.
  • To work in partnership with Everest’s Head of Delegated Underwriting Operations to develop and administer data reports relating to Risk Adjusted Rate Change (RARC), line profiling and other data metrics as required to furnish senior managers and assist in other key stakeholder objectives for the wider business.
  • Manage the analysis and administration of Employers Liability (ELTO) process(es) required for the business. Deal with automation outcomes and assist with annual ELTO audit in conjunction with the Head of Delegated Underwriting Operations.
  • Manage all responses to audit queries and requests from CBI for EIID, Asta for Syndicate and PWC for both platforms, including reporting upwards to Senior Management when required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Management level experience with a Lloyd’s Managing Agent/Insurance Co.
  • Relevant experience in operational delegated underwriting authority or syndicate underwriting support role.
  • Ability to motivate and manage people.
  • Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Business Experience
  • Outstanding communication, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to think proactively and offer solutions to problems.
  • Extensive technology experience including PAS, DMS, Workflow and MS Office suite.
  • Strong prioritisation and time keeping skills.
  • Use of Management Information tools
