Role Overview

We currently have an opening for an ambitious individual looking for the ideal place to start their career in events.  

We are looking for a Delegate Sales Operations Exec who will help us achieve our ambitious growth forecasts through supporting our global delegate sales team, globally. Our in-person and virtual events are the best in the market.

The ideal candidate will have some Operations/ Administration experience or will be looking to launch their career in this function. Previous experience in the sector is not a requirement but an interest and willingness to learn quickly about this market is. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing media business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Delegate Sales team in the execution of sales strategies and initiatives.

- Assist in managing the sales pipeline and customer relationships, using CRM systems to track interactions and progress.

- Provide excellent customer service to delegates to enhance their experience and drive repeat attendance at events.

- Work closely with the marketing team to coordinate promotional efforts and ensure brand alignment.

- Analyze sales data and trends to inform strategic decisions and improve performance.

- Prepare reports for management detailing sales performance and forecasting.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of events.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Proven experience in sales operations or a customer-facing sales role.

- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales metrics.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various departments.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work toward deadlines.
