We are seeking a highly strategic and analytical Deal Desk Manager to join our team. This role is critical in shaping deal structures that maximize customer investment and optimize revenue. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS pricing, packaging, and deal mechanics, as well as a track record of influencing sales motions through data-driven insights. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing historical deal performance, identifying trends, and developing strategies to improve win rates and overall deal velocity.

The Deal Desk Manager will be responsible for managing the deal desk function, ensuring efficient and effective deal processing, and providing strategic support to the sales team. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, and Legal to craft creative, flexible, and scalable deal structures that balance customer needs with company goals.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and execute innovative deal structures, offering multiple pricing and packaging options to maximize revenue potential.
  • Partner with sales teams to provide guidance on deal structuring, negotiation strategies, and pricing trade-offs.
  • Continuously refine deal desk processes, approval workflows, and governance frameworks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Product teams to ensure deals align with company policies, revenue recognition requirements, and long-term strategic goals.
  • Analyze historical wins and losses, deal trends, and product adoption to inform deal strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain deal desk reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. 
  • Provide training and support to sales team members on deal desk processes and tools. 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of deal desk processes and recommend improvements. 
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the CRM system.  

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, deal desk management, or a related role with knowledge of pricing strategies and methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS pricing models, contract structures, and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ) and financial modeling. 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive deal strategies and decision-making.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and sales teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. 
  • Experience in a similar role within the accessibility sector is a plus.
