Job Overview:

Medius is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Deal Desk Lead to support our EMEA Sales organization. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Legal, and Billing — ensuring every deal is structured correctly, priced competitively, and closed efficiently.

You will be the primary Deal Desk point of contact for EMEA Account Executives and Sales Leaders, guiding them through the full quote-to-cash lifecycle with speed and precision. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives under pressure, isn't afraid to push back on Sales when needed, and takes pride in being the commercial partner the team relies on to get deals across the line.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Quote-to-Cash Support

Own the end-to-end deal lifecycle for EMEA: from quote creation and pricing review through contract execution and handoff to Order Management.

Partner with Account Executives to structure deals that balance customer needs with Medius pricing policies and revenue recognition standards.

Review and validate quotes in CPQ for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance before submission.

Pricing & Deal Structuring

Provide real-time pricing guidance on standard and non-standard requests, including multi-year, tiered, and bundled structures.

Evaluate discount requests against pricing guardrails and route approvals through the appropriate matrix promptly.

Serve as a knowledgeable resource on Medius licensing models, product packaging, and commercial policies.

Contract & Redline Negotiation Guidance

Advise Sales on commercial redline negotiations and escalate complex legal or contractual issues to Legal with the appropriate context and urgency.

Ensure all non-standard terms, exceptions, and approvals are properly documented in CRM and CLM systems.

Quarter-End Deal Prioritization

Triage and prioritize deal queues at month- and quarter-end to ensure timely pipeline closure.

Proactively communicate deal status and blockers to Sales leadership, surfacing risks early.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, and Billing to align on deal requirements and ensure smooth transaction execution.

Advocate for Sales when working with internal stakeholders to resolve deal exceptions or blockers.

Participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce deal cycle times and improve quoting accuracy across EMEA.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations role within a B2B SaaS or enterprise software company.

Demonstrated experience supporting EMEA sales teams, with familiarity with regional procurement norms, contract conventions, and market dynamics.

Working knowledge of revenue recognition principles (e.g., ASC 606) and SaaS subscription business models.

Hands-on experience with CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, DealHub, or equivalent) and CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad, Conga, or equivalent).

Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including opportunity and quote management workflows.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for deal analysis and ad hoc reporting.

Self-starter: comfortable operating with high autonomy in a remote environment while reporting to a US-based manager.

Composed under pressure: able to manage high volumes and competing priorities at quarter-end without sacrificing accuracy.

Detail-oriented: meticulous about quote accuracy, policy compliance, and data integrity across CRM and CLM systems.

Strong communicator: able to translate complex commercial terms into clear guidance for Sales, and to hold firm, constructive conversations when pushing back on non-compliant requests.

Collaborative: a natural relationship builder who earns trust across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations.

Commercial acumen: understands the business context behind a deal and can balance Sales urgency with company risk and policy.

Preferred:

Experience with AP automation, spend management, or financial process software.

Familiarity with order management and billing operations.

Experience in a high-growth or scaling B2B SaaS environment.

Exposure to AI-powered workflow tools and a mindset toward process automation and continuous improvement.
