We're looking for a Deal Desk Analyst (m/f/d) to join our Revenue Operations team. This role sits at the intersection of sales, finance, and legal, where you'll structure deals, ensure pricing accuracy, and remove friction from the sales process. You'll work directly with our sales team to close complex enterprise agreements while maintaining compliance and optimizing deal structure. Your tasks include:

Deal Structuring and Support

  • Review and approve non-standard deal requests, including pricing exceptions, custom terms, and multi-year agreements
  • Partner with sales to structure deals that balance customer needs with company objectives
  • Provide guidance on contract terms, discount approvals, and negotiation strategies
  • Ensure all deals comply with company policies and approval workflows

Process Management

  • Own the end-to-end deal approval process from initial request to contract execution
  • Maintain and improve deal desk workflows and playbooks
  • Reduce quote-to-cash cycle time by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, legal, finance, and revenue operations teams

Systems and Data

  • Manage deal data in our CRM (HubSpot) and CPQ systems
  • Ensure data accuracy across all revenue systems
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards for deal metrics and approval turnaround times
  • Document processes and maintain knowledge base resources for the sales team

Analysis and Optimization

  • Analyze deal trends to identify patterns in pricing, discounting, and terms
  • Provide insights to leadership on deal velocity, win rates, and margin impact
  • Recommend process improvements based on data and sales feedback
  • Support quarterly business reviews with deal performance analysis

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, or revenue operations
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and enterprise sales cycles
  • Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools and contract management
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to balance speed and accuracy
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, legal, and finance teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM and workflows
  • Familiarity with billing and revenue recognition platforms (Maxio or RevOps.io)
  • Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
  • Understanding of subscription pricing models and revenue metrics
  • Experience working with international deals and multi-currency contracts

Benefits
  • Technical Excellence: Work with the original creators of Apache Flink and some of the brightest minds in stream processing
  • Enterprise Impact: Support deals with global brands solving mission-critical challenges
  • Growth Opportunity: Join a fast-growing company at the forefront of real-time data and AI
  • Collaborative Culture: Work with a team that values clarity, speed, and customer success
  • Remote-First with Real Flexibility: Work from wherever you're most productive - home, a coworking space, or one of our offices when you want a change of scenery. We meet in person a few times a year because some conversations are just better face-to-face.
