What's this role about?

 

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing and ensuring successful project execution for various data & analytics initiatives of our customers. You would contribute in pre-sales cycle when needed to validated efforts and timelines as well as proactively take technical propositions to customers for cross-selling / up selling. You would work very closely with Delivery managers and leads to ensure smooth project execution and a high CSAT score.

 

Here's how you'll contribute:

 

Program Manager at Zensar takes up end to end ownerships of projects and provide valuable expertise in the project. You will contribute to the role by:
  • Managing and owning all aspects of technical development and delivery

  • Managing onsite-offshore engagement model

  • Overall program planning, establish controls, monitor of progress, coordinate program key tasks, owns stakeholder communication and business deliverables attainment

  • Work on Data strategy and consulting projects

  • Planning end to end technical scope of the project and customer engagement area including planning sprint and delivery 

  • Estimating effort, identifying risk and providing technical support whenever needed

  • Developing project requirements, SOWs, execution plans, project timelines, and other related materials for the management of deliverables.

  • Taking responsibility & Accountability on the overall health of the project - timeliness, quality, customer feedback

  • Exploring and capitalizing on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell to existing clients and working with Practice & presales team for the same

  • Constant innovation and creating new solutions/accelerators/POVs which maps to the market place requirements

  • Supporting on new proposals/RFPs as required

     

Skills required to contribute:

12-15 Years of experience in executing Data & Analytics projects with minimum 6+ years in a Project Manager role

  1. Exceptional communication skills and proven ability towards constructive networking.

  2. Balance of strategic thinking and hands on approach with a deep drive to make things happen and deliver results

  3. Strong knowledge of Delivery Management processes/tools and the know-how to scale them as the organization grows

  4. Experience in leading, growing and mentoring an enthusiastic team of high energy professionals and building future leaders

  5. Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.

  6. Extensive experience in leading cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities for customers. Experience in building 

  7. Hands on delivery and solution experience across technologies (Bigdata,Snowflake,Azure, GCP, ETLs, AI/ML & Visualization tools.

  8. Hands-on experience on MS Fabric and related infrastructure projects

  9. Good understanding of Cloud Data Analytics technology stack, specifically cloud native Data & analytics services.

  10. Good exposure to AI/ML and Automation technologies

  11. Experience of data strategy and consulting engagements in BFSI Industry

  12. Excellent coaching and mentoring skills along with consultative, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  13. Excellent understanding of business finances

  14. Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple & complex projects and resources concurrently

  15. Good understanding of various project methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and/or principles of lean, Kanban, DevOps etc. and have practice experience of implementing the same in various projects.

  16. Well-versed with various software suc h as MS Projects, JIRA, MS Office, SharePoint etc.
