Aviva Investors is a leading asset manager, dedicated to delivering superior investment performance and innovative solutions to our clients. We are committed to leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and optimise investment processes. In this role your requirements will be to lead, implement and manage our data strategy for Private Markets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance data optimisation and efficiency across the business. This role will involve working closely with various teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in data management practices.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience in data strategy, data management, or a related role, preferably within the financial services industry.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL), data visualisation tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI), and data management platforms.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and projects.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
