We are seeking to enhance our European Revenue Operations team by adding a seasoned Data Scientist. This position, dedicated to supporting the Revenue Organisation, will focus on delivering critical insights into marketplace data, performance metrics, and emerging trends. Additionally, the role involves developing innovative tools and solutions designed to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and overall value for the broader team.

The full-time role is based in either our modern and friendly central London office, in Soho, or our office in central Munich. We are a fast-growing company with a can-do culture that will suit someone who prefers not to work in a highly corporate environment.

What is a day in the life of a Sales Analyst / Data Scientist?

  • Work with US Data Science team to develop and roll out new technology, insight and enablement tools to EMEA region

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists in parallel departments to drive new innovations and efficiency improvements

  • Refine and optimise data collection and analysis for the EMEA revenue organisation

  • Work to incrementally increase accuracy and efficiency of the data used to target potential brands

  • Review deal cycles to help inform of stronger pipeline optimisation and increase conversion rates

  • Build and maintain sales funnel dashboards for ongoing reporting and optimisation of the sales pipe

  • Derive actionable insights to help build account based marketing content for improved personalisation of target accounts

  • Build robust, data-led account insights to support with event execution, engagement and lead handovers

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • SQL, Python experience

  • Salesforce experience

  • 3-5 years experience in eCommerce – preferably working in eCommerce at a brand or working for a marketplace (e.g.Amazon,  eBay, etc.) 

  • Deep understanding of 1P strengths & weaknesses and economics

  • Understands key success metrics for a brand in an eCommerce environment

  • Translates data into insights and effectively communicates them with senior stakeholders

  • Analytical - experienced with Excel/Google Sheets and building presentations to communicate with executives

  • ​​Communicates in a clear, concise manner and can tailor messaging to the audience (e.g. exec level vs. mid-level management level)

  • Prioritizes daily activities to ensure materials are prepped for highest priority potential accounts and reps are prepped with insights

  • Understands the context and pain points of various accounts to tailor messaging, decks, etc. to meet those needs

  • Works efficiently cross-functionally and internationally; builds relationships and leverages expertise of various departments to build better business cases and/or reinforce Pattern capabilities

  • Has a solid grasp on industry stats/Pattern proof points and process qualitative/quantitative data to create value for potential partners and stays up-to-speed on industry trends and Pattern capabilities to drive value for brands
