As a Data Scientist at Wheely, you will analyze large datasets, utilize SQL, and Python for data manipulation, and leverage business intelligence tools like Looker or Metabase for data visualization. You will lead experimental initiatives and apply statistical methods to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing the brand's service offerings.
Wheely is not a traditional ride-hailing company. We are building a platform with user privacy at its core while successfully scaling a five-star service to millions of rides across multiple cities.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Statistics
- Experience in analysing large data sets
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Competence in at least one business intelligence tool such as Looker or Metabase, and a strong grasp of data visualisation techniques
- Experience in leading experimental initiatives, use of statistical methods, design and analysis of experiments, and providing insightful recommendations
- Familiarity with supervised machine learning frameworks, including but not limited to, Linear Regression, Decision Trees, and Gradient Boosting
