Summary: The Data & Reporting Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective compliance program to cover all of Cboe Europe’s non-financial regulatory data management, record keeping and reporting obligations. The successful applicant will be part of an experienced Compliance team.

Location: London, UK

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the compliance oversight program covering end-to-end data governance and non-financial regulatory reporting processes, including data collection, validation, and submission and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including but not limited to the FCA Handbook and MiFID/R.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UK and EU regulatory requirements from the FCA, AFM and ESMA.
  • Interpret and work with technology teams to apply regulatory changes into our reporting processes.
  • Implement and maintain robust controls to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.
  • Work with Technology to develop new tooling for Compliance, to automate reporting controls, and to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Analyse regulatory data to identify trends and potential risks and provide senior management with updates on regulatory reporting performance and risks.
  • Support the development of regulatory reporting strategies and policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the organisation in relevant regulatory discussions and industry groups.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally in a science or engineering discipline.
  • Proven subject matter expertise and 7+ years of experience in Order Record Keeping and regulatory reporting, preferably gained within a regulator, trading venue, broker and/or data reporting services provider.
  • Experience of data governance, data architecture, advanced analytics, data management practices
  • Proven ability to interpret regulatory reporting requirements
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Familiarity with trading techniques and technology.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
