Job Title: Data Product Marketing Manager

Position Overview:

With the Omnipod Insulin Management System as its flagship product, Insulet Corporation is one of the fastest-growing medical device companies globally. The primary responsibility of this Marketing Manager role will be leading the data management system campaigns, with launch planning efforts, focusing on identifying unmet customer needs and collaborating with internal business functions to develop, train, and commercialise products and solutions to simplify life with diabetes.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Marketing organization to understand product benefits, positioning, value proposition and points of differentiation and communicate all the above to field sales organization
  • Support the go-to-market strategy and provide on-market support, training and ongoing learning and development
  • Organize and disseminate key product feature feedback from end users (HCPs and PWDs) to the internal upstream marketing organization
  • Troubleshoot operational gaps where necessary to ensure consistent delivery of Insulet’s key pillars of customer experience success throughout the digital health system touchpoints
  • Lead all field sales training efforts for Insulet’s digital health data system
  • Guide the development and maintenance of product training materials including digital training tools, product packaging and customer resource guides
  • Develop and execute global product launch plans and sales force training in collaboration with Marketing groups.
  • Lead the planning and ongoing development and execution of on-market products including product improvements, guidance with marketing claims, product messaging and clinical design and claims with key stakeholders
  • Manage the marketing innovation product lifecycle, conduct the post-launch review and assess line extensions and end-of-life planning.

Accountability/Scope/Budget

  • Serve as data management system expert related to strategy, product positioning, competitive information, product performance, etc
  • Serve as the voice of customers through development and training and accountable for product meeting consumer expectations
  • Manage data management system commercial budget and specific programs/tactics (plan and track expenses)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant clinical and CSII and/or data management experience
  • Diabetes, software, or mobile app experience preferred
  • Experience with global product and stakeholder management strongly preferred
  • Assertive self-starter, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity and demonstrates good executive presence
  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence partners in other functional areas
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. This is standard, and you’re always up for the challenge to get creative and flex your communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working through change across functional areas and at varying levels of the organisation.
  • Experience training clinicians and clinician-facing field sales employees
