ABOUT OUR DATA STRATEGY 

Data is a core part of the Mony Group strategy. Since 2021, we’ve been on a journey to modernize our underlying infrastructure and related capabilities, As our foundational infrastructure has become more established, we are focusing more on long-term value creation, continuous delivery of enhancements, and iterative development based on user feedback, so that our data products evolve to meet the changing needs of the business.  

ABOUT THE ROLE 

As Data Product Manager for Market Boost, you will: 

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of Market Boost by understanding partner needs and market opportunities.  You'll conduct user research, analyse market trends, and translate insights into actionable product requirements. 

  • Lead cross-functional teams – including Commercial, Customer Operations, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Visualisation – to translate innovative ideas into high-impact data products that empower our partners.   

  • Ensure successful execution of the product roadmap for Market Boost, setting clear objectives and key results (OKRs) that align with the overall Mony Group business strategy.  

  • Own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to launch and ongoing iteration. You'll define and prioritise features, write user stories, and work closely with engineering to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. 

  • Provide proactive BAU support by efficiently addressing and resolving partner enquiries regarding data access, functionality, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate responses. 

  • Oversee the partner and user onboarding process, streamlining where possible, and providing clear documentation, training materials, user guides, and personalised support to ensure a smooth and successful integration with Market Boost. 

  • Oversee maintenance and releases by coordinating and communicating scheduled maintenance windows and product releases, minimising disruption for partners and ensuring a seamless transition to new features and updates. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the stability and reliability of the platform. 

  • Proactively monitor Market Boost's performance, identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure optimal uptime and data accuracy. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Proven ability to execute product strategies based on deep understanding of user needs, market dynamics, and technology trends. You'll have experience contributing to the vision and roadmap for a portfolio of data-driven products, preferably within a B2B or SaaS environment. 

  • A commitment to operational excellence, with experience in providing proactive support to address data queries, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), and effectively managing processes and incidents. You'll be adept at identifying opportunities to implement automation and streamline workflows to improve efficiency and scalability. 

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the value proposition of data products to both technical and non-technical audiences. You can tailor your communication style to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, from data scientists to C-suite executives. 

  • Demonstrated ability to drive product development from initial concept to successful launch, using Agile methodologies. Experience in rigorously tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure impact and iterate based on data-driven insights.  

  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with B2B partners, proactively communicating product updates, and providing ongoing education to drive adoption and maximize value. Experience managing B2B or SaaS products, with a focus on optimising user journeys and identifying upsell opportunities. 

  • A technical background, including working level proficiency in querying relational databases using SQL to troubleshoot data-related issues. Experience with data transformations, data warehousing concepts, data visualisations, and a solid understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle (from data ingestion to reporting) is highly desirable. 

  • Experience with Jira and Notion would be valuable.
