About the role
The Data Product Manager will lead the development of core data features aligned with JustGiving’s business priorities. This role involves managing internal and external data requirements, interfacing with stakeholders, and guiding the development team.
What you'll be doing

Oversee data product requirements for user experience, internal tools, and reporting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, compliance, product design, research) to manage the product life cycle.

Develop and own the long-term vision and roadmap for data products, focusing on data integrity and performance.

Ensure adherence to data retention and deletion policies.
-
Research emerging technologies and market trends to recommend new data-driven products.
-
Lead development teams through product vision, roadmap execution, and delivery.

Conduct market and user feedback analysis to inform product decisions.
-
Manage backlog and content releases, balancing business goals and user needs.

Support go-to-market strategies and launch plans with Product Marketing.
What we're looking for

Proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and feature testing.

Understanding of data management processes, including data pipelines, modeling, and processing.

Strong knowledge of ETLs, Data Warehouses, and databases.

Experience with the full data product life cycle in an agile environment.

Ability to apply company policies to ensure product functionality and compliance.

Leadership skills to inspire and support developers, testers, marketers, and analysts.

Ability to create a culture of ownership and accountability.

Effective communication with stakeholders to maintain steady information flow.

Commitment to delivering high-quality products and advocating for excellence.
