If you are a Data Professional looking to progress your career in the world’s leading media organisation, whilst developing key business skills, we at Reuters Events would like to talk to you!

We are hiring a Data Analyst with 2-3 years’ experience to join Reuters Events, a fast-growing team within Reuters.

Reuters Events deliver world-class conferences and content across the globe, and work with industry leaders and visionaries to provide the critical intelligence senior level executives need to make strategic decisions.

We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to support our expanding reporting and data management needs.

About the Role

As a Data Analyst here at Reuters Events, you will:

  • Work with our Data Manager and wider technology team to continuously improve the overall quality of our CRM data.

  • Build dashboards and data models for various stakeholders across the company using Salesforce to encourage real-time data-driven decision making.

  • Combine data sources from multiple sales and marketing platforms to build routine and ad hoc reports using Excel, Salesforce and Power BI.

  • Import combined, enhanced and updated lists into the CRM and other applications using ETL tools.

  • Become a junior administrator of the systems used throughout the company.

  • Add value and take ownership of various innovation projects within the data team.

  • Contribute to the mentorship of our data apprentice throughout their qualification, including reviewing work and offering feedback when appropriate.

About You

To be our Data Analyst, you will likely have:

  • Strong Excel and data skills, proficient at turning data into comprehensive insights for a variety of stakeholders across the company.

  • A logical mind, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A love of technology and the ability to learn new software quickly.

  • Great communication and organisation skills.

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or Junior Data Analyst in any profession, you don’t need to have experience in conferences. We look for people who have done interesting things with their time – and who can grow and develop – rather than those who fit every criteria.

  • We’d love to hear of any previous experience in platforms similar to Salesforce or Power BI, as well as any existing knowledge of marketing or sales functions. These are desired but not required.
