Hybrid 3 days / week onsite

Renishaw is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 across its global subsidiaries, and we are looking for a customer‑focused Data Migration Coordinator to support the successful transition of data into our D365 Finance & Operations and Customer Engagement systems.

In this role, you will work closely with the data migration technical team, business users and SMEs to gather, clarify, and document data mapping requirements, guide customers through testing cycles, and support sign‑off activities. You will play a key part in ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and ready ahead of each deployment stage by coordinating activities, managing documentation, and clearly communicating expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers, business SMEs, and data migration technical teams to present, document, and validate data mapping rules and migration requirements from legacy systems to D365.

  • Facilitate scope definition by driving discussions on in-scope data entities, document decisions, and identifying gaps or dependencies.

  • Monitor and manage data migration risks and issues, escalating where required and recommending appropriate mitigation actions.

  • Support data readiness activities by facilitating data review, cleansing, validation, and customer sign‑off.

  • Coordinate and support migration testing cycles by preparing customer‑friendly test materials, capturing feedback, managing defects, and ensuring clear communication across teams.

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date migration artefacts, including mapping documents, runbooks, validation logs, load files and issue/risk registers.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data migration governance, tooling, and repeatable delivery processes.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting data migration activities for ERP/CRM programmes, ideally including D365 (F&O and/or CE).

  • An understanding of D365 data entities and how legacy data structures map into D365.

  • Practical experience working with teams on data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

  • Awareness of ETL processes and migration tooling.

  • High attention to detail when preparing and validating migration artefacts.

  • Confident working with SMEs, functional consultants, and technical teams during migration testing cycles, including defect triage and re‑testing.

  • Experience contributing to repeatable migration processes, standards, or governance models.

  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for managing work items and migration artefacts.

  • Methodical, structured approach with strong problem‑solving skills.

Person Specification

  • Enjoys solving problems and improving automation.

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced hybrid environment.

  • Committed to learning modern DevOps and cloud techniques.
