What this job involves:

The Data Management Lead will drive success for our UK Leasing business by delivering high-quality market information that keeps JLL ahead of competitors. You'll oversee data-related activities, implement governance policies, and manage a team of data professionals while serving as a data SME to the wider business.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Create and enforce policies and governance for effective data management across the UK Leasing business

  • Establish frameworks ensuring robust processes for quality data collection, maintenance, and accessibility

  • Monitor and analyse information systems to evaluate performance and discover enhancement opportunities

  • Lead data-related projects such as cleansing, enrichment, and migration initiatives

  • Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorise maintenance or modifications when needed

  • Work closely with business users to understand challenges and develop strategic roadmaps to address requirements

  • Manage and develop a team of data specialists to achieve organisational goals and data quality targets

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in a data governance or data management role

  • Proven ability to manage a team of data specialists to achieve set goals

  • Excellent understanding of data administration functions (collection, analysis, distribution)

  • Demonstrable experience implementing and enhancing data governance processes

  • Strong communication skills with ability to engage effectively across all business levels

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with data querying and visualisation tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating between multiple stakeholders to deliver successful change management

  • Background in creating automated data quality and usage reporting

  • Understanding of data architecture and database management principles

  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies

  • Experience working in real estate or professional services industries

  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements

  • Demonstrated success in large-scale data migration projects
