Your future role within QRT

  • Your core objective will be to collaborate with Researchers and Analyst to onboard data sources and signals through a centralized framework.
  • You will contribute to the design and maintenance of datasets used for signal generation in trading strategies.
  • You will also help develop robust data quality checks to enhance monitoring and ensure the longevity of data sources.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating alternative datasets and building tools to automate data pipelines for faster and more reliable delivery.
  • Finally, you will provide support to end users, including Quant Researchers and Traders.


Your present skillset

  • 2+ years’ hands-on experience in data engineering
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with other engineers, quants and traders
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Python
  • Experience with workflow orchestration frameworks (e.g. Argo, Airflow)
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and internal service integrations
  • Experience with observability tools (e.g. Grafana, CloudWatch)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Exposure to the front-end, particularly with regards to custom monitoring dashboards, is a plus
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work autonomously within a globally distributed team
