About the role:

We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional and eager to learn and/or consolidate knowledge on planning, design,development and maintenance of data platforms, data pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will work close with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to promote the best experience

for data analytics, data science explorations, development and deployment of data-based features.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, IT or similar field

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Data Engineer

• Ability to write robust code in Python or similar

• Knowledge in SQL/NoSQL

• Knowledge of data processors like Spark and Kafka

• Knowledge of data frameworks like Airflow, dbt, Debezium, Flink, among others

• Knowledge of AWS solutions for Data Engineering

• Experience in code and data quality and tests

• Experience in the developing E2E data pipelines and ETLs

• Experience in infrastructure as code, preferably AWS CDK

• Excellent communication and decision-making skills

• Self-managed and motivated

• Motivation to work in an Agile Scrum team and to push the team towards the sprint goal

• Strong opinion and continuous evaluation of new technologies and software products

• Fluent in English.
