Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and supporting processes
- Implement business logic and data models to meet agreed requirements
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, deployment, and operational support
- Diagnose and resolve data quality and pipeline issues
- Collaborate effectively within agile, cross-functional delivery teams
- Document solutions and contribute to shared engineering standards
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience working with production data pipelines and modern data tooling
- Good understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and data quality principles
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform such as Azure or AWS
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, version control, and testing practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with tools such as Databricks, Data Factory, Fabric, Airflow, DBT, or equivalent
- Experience working with structured and semi-structured data sources
- Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance requirements
