Job Summary
- Work with the Data Visualization team, focusing on expertise in Microsoft BI, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory.
- Manage multiple client engagements, delivering high-quality results within stipulated timelines.
- Analyze and understand business requirements, creating information architecture, taxonomy, and solution approaches.
- Design and build complete ETL/Azure Data Factory processes for data movement and transformation across ODS, Staging, and Data Warehousing.
- Develop and deploy BI dashboards, models, and KPIs using Power BI.
- Translate business requirements into technical code and ensure efficient data cleansing, extraction, and loading processes.
- Provide technical demonstrations and prototypes for visualizations and reporting solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective data solutions.
- Independently manage data cleansing, extraction, and loading tasks.
- Design and implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory for seamless data transformation.
- Develop and deploy BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Power BI.
- Build and optimize data models, schemas, stored procedures, and functions in SQL.
- Prototype data visualizations, scorecards, and performance metrics using Power BI.
- Exhibit expertise in managing multiple client engagements and leading teams to deliver high-quality deliverables.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills and inspire teamwork within engagement teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Proficiency in SQL and Azure SQL, including schema design, stored procedures, and T-SQL.
- Skills in Data Modeling, DAX, and Power Query for advanced reporting solutions.
- Experience with Databricks, Data Lake, and technologies such as Scala/Spark/SQL.
- Basic knowledge of Azure Machine Learning Services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver technical demonstrations and explain concepts to stakeholders.
- A quick learner with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
