We are seeking a Data Center Lease Administration Manager to own lease administration, compliance, and data governance for a growing global data center portfolio. This role sits within the Portfolio Operations organization and serves as the single source of truth for all data center lease information, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational rigor across the lease lifecycle.
About the role:You will partner closely with Data Center Operations, Legal, Accounting, Finance, and external real estate partners to manage lease records, commencement processes, and controls in accordance with ASC 842, SOX, and internal governance standards. This role reports to the Director of Portfolio Operations and operates at the intersection of real estate, finance, and infrastructure operations.
In this role, you will:- Own end-to-end lease administration for the data center portfolio, including lease abstraction, commencement, amendments, and ongoing compliance
- Serve as the authoritative owner of all lease data, ensuring accuracy of key terms, conditions, dates, SLAs, and financial obligations
- Ensure lease records, processes, and internal controls comply with ASC 842, SOX, and corporate accounting policies
- Manage the lease commencement and monthly close processes, partnering with Accounting and Finance to support accurate reporting and audits
- Review, analyze, and report on critical lease attributes, including rent schedules, escalations, options, service obligations, and termination rights
- Maintain and govern lease data within enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness
- Act as the subject matter expert for data center lease terms and administration across the organization
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of lease administration processes and controls
- Partner cross-functionally with Data Center Operations, Legal, Accounting and Finance, and External real estate partners (e.g. brokers, lease administrators, data center providers.
- 5+ years experience in lease accounting and administration, including strong knowledge of ASC 842
- Experience operating within SOX-controlled environments and supporting audit requirements
- Strong understanding of data center lease structures, terms, SLAs, and operational considerations
- Proven ability to manage complex lease data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical, legal, and finance stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently as an owner in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Experience administering leases in hyperscale, colocation, or large infrastructure portfolios
- Hands-on experience with CoStar or similar lease management platforms
- Familiarity with large-scale real estate portfolios and long-term infrastructure leases
- Experience improving or scaling lease administration processes in high-growth environments

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 to $153,000. The starting salary will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility)
