The RoleAs a Data Analytics Principal Consultant, you'll take a central role in supporting the continued growth of Capco's UK Data Practice. You'll lead complex data and analytics programmes across the Financial Services sector while mentoring talent, guiding clients and driving innovation across Cloud, AI and Machine Learning. You'll champion AI-enabled ways of working, helping clients and teams adopt modern approaches that improve productivity, accelerate insight and deliver measurable business outcomes, while ensuring responsible AI practices and appropriate human oversight.
What You'll Do- Lead the delivery of complex data transformation and analytics programmes across leading Financial Services organisations, helping clients unlock value through modern data and AI capabilities.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to data consultants, fostering technical excellence, continuous learning and the effective adoption of AI-enabled tools and modern delivery practices.
- Build trusted client relationships, shape data and AI propositions, and contribute to business development activities by identifying opportunities to deliver measurable business value.
- Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to promote data literacy, AI adoption and data-driven decision-making, translating complex concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Represent Capco's Data Practice externally through industry engagement, partnerships and thought leadership, contributing to the evolution of Capco's data and AI offerings.
- Minimum five years' experience in consulting or a senior leadership role delivering complex data and analytics initiatives within Financial Services.
- Strong expertise across data and analytics disciplines, including data quality, governance, business intelligence, AI and machine learning, with an understanding of how these capabilities enable enterprise transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence audiences from C-suite executives through to delivery teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data transformation programmes, with an understanding of responsible AI, governance and modern AI-enabled delivery approaches.
- Ability to lead multiple workstreams while developing internal capability, embracing AI-enabled ways of working to improve delivery quality, efficiency and client outcomes.
- Experience supporting business development, proposition development or pre-sales activities within a consulting environment.
- Hands-on familiarity with modern data science, MLOps, AI operationalisation or cloud-native analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, AI governance, model risk management or enterprise analytics operating models.
- Experience supporting organisational change, business analysis or large-scale transformation programmes involving data and AI.
- Confidence operating across both strategic and technical client discussions, with the ability to connect business objectives to modern data and AI capabilities.
- Deliver high-impact technology solutions for Tier 1 financial institutions.
