We are looking for a Data Analyst in our Belgrade office to enhance our operational excellence! You will be a part of Clarivate’s Business Operations Excellence IP team with a focus of helping colleagues and leaders derive meaningful business insights. This role and team play a critical role in deriving meaningful patterns, trends, and knowledge from the data that empowers different areas within Clarivate drive intelligent business decisions.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

  • Academically qualified with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent working experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Service or a comparable tool
  • Experience working with data with understanding of database structures, SQL, and ETL processes.
  • Experience in entity relationship (ER) models and applying ER models for systematic analysis and descriptive knowledge management

It would be great if you also had . . .  

  • Experience in any other BI tools or project
  • Experience in data warehouses, ETL tools and environments
  • Experience in distributed enterprise applications and architecture
  • Experience with MS Excel with Macros and pivot tables
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Experience in Jira and Confluence

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of business intelligence solutions along the IP business processes.
  • Work toward developing the skills that enable the understanding of business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and implements BI solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and business analysts to understand reporting needs and analytical requirements.
  • Gather data requirements, connect to various data sources including querying databases and, load and transform data into required formats for further reporting stages.
  • Develop calculated fields, measures, and write DAX formulas to transform and enrich data.
  • Create reports & dashboards from refined data to help share information within our departments
  • Ensure data quality and integrity and adhere to essential documentation and knowledge management procedures.

We are growing team of currently five data analysts and process experts from Europe and India. We collaborate in a hybrid, but very international setting and you will work with creative and open-minded colleagues.

Hours of work

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
