Job Description

As a Data Analyst in our Sportsbook Product Team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our sports betting products. You’ll turn raw data into actionable insights, enabling data-informed decisions across product strategy, feature development, and customer experience.

Reporting to the Senior Analytics Manager, you'll be part of the that are responsible for analysing customer behaviour during a major tournament, evaluating the impact of a new in-play feature, or spotting trends that improve profitability, your work will influence real outcomes across millions of users.

What you will do

  • Supports the acquisition, processing, integration, and cleaning of data from multiple sources.
  • Uses a variety of tools to automate data collection and assists in the building of data dashboards / reports / models.
  • Undertakes exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, relationships, and indicators of performance across Sportsbook products.
  • Supports the presentation of data insights to relevant stakeholders for planning and decision support.
  • Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of data analytics/science.
  • Uses existing procedures and analysis of information to solve standard problems.

Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in sport, coupled with curiosity and enthusiasm for solving real business problems through data.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a data analysis, product analytics, or business intelligence role
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying large and complex datasets
  • Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Comfortable working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery)
  • Basic understanding of A/B testing and statistical concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of explaining complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and challenges.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data analysis and reporting.
  • Good understanding of business operations, processes, and strategy, with the ability to align data analysis with business needs.
  • Acts with integrity, taking ownership and always doing the right thing.
  • Delivers results: Plans for success and gets the job done
  • Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis and business intelligence
