We're a team of data scientists, engineers, analysts, and strategists who use advanced AI-driven solutions to:

  • Anticipate & Manage Risk & Reputation: Predict potential crises, identify disinformation campaigns, and proactively manage brand reputation in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
  • Create Personalised Content at Scale: Develop data-driven content strategies that resonate with specific audiences and drive engagement.
  • Navigate Sector-Specific Challenges: Provide deep insights and tailored solutions for clients across diverse industries.
  • Measure Performance & Demonstrate Value: Go beyond vanity metrics to demonstrate the real-world impact of PR campaigns and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

  • Assists in the collection, cleaning, and organisation of data from various sources, including media monitoring tools, social media platforms, survey data, and internal databases.
  • Ensures data accuracy and integrity through rigorous quality control processes.
  • Conducts research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audiences to inform PR strategies.
  • Analyses data to identify key insights and patterns relevant to client campaigns.
  • Prepares clear and concise reports summarising research findings and data analysis.
  • Supports the development and implementation of metrics to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
  • Tracks and analyses campaign performance data, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assists in the creation of regular performance reports for clients, highlighting key achievements and insights.
  • Contributes to the development of data-driven PR strategies and tactics. Provides data-backed recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness and reach target audiences.

Experience that contributes to success:

  • Possesses a strong interest in the media landscape and its influence on culture and society. Eager to understand how PR campaigns shape public perception and drive brand engagement.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Experience with traditional and social media monitoring platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Signal AI, Brandwatch) is an advantage.
  • Interest in learning new data analysis and research tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and curious mindset with a passion for learning.
  • Demonstrated interest in data-driven decision-making and performance measurement.

Our London office:
Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
