YOUR ROLE AS A BURSON PERSON
- Assists in the collection, cleaning, and organisation of data from various sources, including media monitoring tools, social media platforms, survey data, and internal databases.
- Ensures data accuracy and integrity through rigorous quality control processes.
- Conducts research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audiences to inform PR strategies.
- Analyses data to identify key insights and patterns relevant to client campaigns.
- Prepares clear and concise reports summarising research findings and data analysis.
- Supports the development and implementation of metrics to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
- Tracks and analyses campaign performance data, identifying areas for improvement.
- Assists in the creation of regular performance reports for clients, highlighting key achievements and insights.
- Contributes to the development of data-driven PR strategies and tactics. Provides data-backed recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness and reach target audiences.
YOU’LL BRING ALONG WITH YOU
- Possesses a strong interest in the media landscape and its influence on culture and society. Eager to understand how PR campaigns shape public perception and drive brand engagement.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Experience with traditional and social media monitoring platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Signal AI, Brandwatch) is an advantage.
- Interest in learning new data analysis and research tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and curious mindset with a passion for learning.
- Demonstrated interest in data-driven decision-making and performance measurement.
OUR LONDON OFFICE
Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
