Location

This role is based in London, Victoria, and follows a hybrid working pattern: three days in the office and two days working from home.

The Team

You will be reporting to the Product Owner and working closely with the Finance and Data and Tech team.

The role:

The position is to be the Landsec D365 Finance and Operations technical subject matter expert, providing support for our strategic Platforms and Finance Admin function. The role will support our business as well as influencing strategic technical decisions on the applications within our Finance ecosystem. You will proactively engage with Landsec Finance stakeholder user groups, our Data & Technology (D&T) team, senior stakeholders and our application partners to investigate operational technical issues and requests to effect timely, quality, efficient and cost-effective resolutions in line with our Service Level Agreements.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Provide 3rd line engineering technical expertise on the support and triage of D365 Finance and Operations system issues. The role will deliver excellent customer service levels as part of the Finance Systems  Team to continually improve the user experiences and meet our business objectives. 

  • Drive strategic platform upgrade decisions, continuous improvement initiatives, financial workflow configuration and support ensuring that these are aligned to the approved Delegated Authority

  • Supporting and evolving automated testing capabilities (RSAT) for the business and performing environment release management and deployments

  • Supporting the Product Owner and wider team to deliver maintenance and continuous improvement of our internal D365 Application support service and integrated finance ecosystem support across all areas of the business within SLAs.

  • Perform day to day business system process support and account and license management of D365.

  • Direct engagement with stakeholders to support operational excellence and optimisation in your application area, developing a clear understanding of the platform and users’ business requirements to deliver high quality support services to our Landsec user base. 

  • Primary support contact across Finance and the wider business for ticket escalations, notably for workflow queries

  • Responsible for financial metadata.  This includes maintaining legal entities, chart of accounts, financial dimensions, bank accounts.

  • Driving excellence through our support partners, contributing to SRMs, sprint planning, daily standups and sprint retrospectives with the business.

  • Collaborative engagement with wider Finance and D&T stakeholders to ensure alignment of support investigations, issue and request resolutions, including root cause analysis.  

  • Engagement with our Business Partners to ensure services are delivered to meet the business needs and resolution SLAs. 

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our training and knowledge base articles. 

Essential Criteria

  • Highly organised, proactive, methodical and structured thinker with strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Deep Subject Matter Expertise of implementing and enhancing support processes for Finance Applications (D365 F&O, OneStream, SKG, FlexPropertyand Power BI)

  • Previous experience of supporting business facing Finance Ecosystem applications

  • Strong Supplier and Partner Relationship Management

  • Good understanding of relationship management requirements, influencing and stakeholder management

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals

  • Experience with CRM systems and customer support platforms

  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
