Contract Opportunity – Dynamics 365 F&SCM Finance Technical Solution Architect
Day Rate | 3-Month Contract | Telefonica Tech

Telefonica Tech is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Finance Technical Solution Architect to support upcoming projects on a 3-month day rate contract.

This role will play a key part in designing and shaping technical solutions centred on Dynamics 365 Finance, working closely with delivery, presales, and customer stakeholders to ensure scalable, high-quality architecture aligned with Microsoft best practices.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Dynamics 365 F&SCM architect or senior technical consultant who is available for a short-term contract engagement within a leading Microsoft partner environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and design of Dynamics 365 F&SCM Finance solutions
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership across Dynamics 365 Finance implementations
• Design integrations between Dynamics 365 F&SCM and external systems
• Define and document solution architecture, integrations, and technical components
• Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and project teams to ensure solutions align with best practices
• Support technical governance, solution reviews, and architecture decisions
• Ensure solutions align with Microsoft recommended architecture and cloud standards
• Provide guidance on performance, scalability, security, and extensibility
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of finance-focused ERP solutions

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 3 Months

• Engagement Type: Day Rate Contract

• Location: Flexible / Remote (UK preferred)

• Start Date: Immediate or as soon as available

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM)
• Strong technical architecture experience within Dynamics 365 Finance
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale ERP solutions
• Deep understanding of Finance modules within Dynamics 365
• Experience designing integrations using Azure services, APIs, and middleware
• Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 technical architecture, extensions, and development frameworks
• Experience working with Azure, Microsoft cloud technologies, and integration patterns
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to produce architecture documentation and technical design artefacts

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within a Microsoft partner or consultancy environment
• Knowledge of legacy Microsoft Dynamics ERP platforms
• Exposure to Retail, Commerce, or multi-entity finance implementations
• Experience supporting complex global finance transformations
