Cyber Graduate

Daintta is a rapidly expanding, values-driven team of specialists who collaborate with both public and private sector clients across the domains of Cyber, Telecommunications, and Data. We are seeking a talented and motivated Cyber Security Graduates to join our team and contribute to our mission of safeguarding the UK through data-driven insights and solutions.

As a Graduate, you will be expected to demonstrate versatility and adaptability in your role as you will be exposed to multiple areas of the business, so you can explore the options of working in a growing company like Daintta. You will be expected to contribute to various aspects of our projects, both internal and external whilst working closely with more experienced team members and clients. You will experience the full size, scale and life cycles of the projects that Daintta is a part of, and your responsibilities; both technical and non-technical, will be carefully curated by your line manager. Throughout your role, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise and grow your knowledge in cyber security while upholding the company's core values of transparency, fairness, and daring. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Understanding core business principles and learn to represent our values. 
• Understanding how to assess and effectively managing professional stakeholder relationships. 
• Learning about how Daintta designs and implements security management strategies. 
• Learning to use effective cyber security controls and how to apply them. 
• Ensuring security principles are integrated during design and development phases to minimise risk. 
• Developing and communicating corporate information security policies, standards, and guidelines. 
• Identifying and monitoring environmental and market trends, and proactively assessing their impact on business strategies, benefits, and risks. 
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of risks and threats, and how to manage them. 
• Understanding the risks posed by emerging technologies and business practices. 
• Delivering high-quality work within agreed timelines, taking the initiative to deliver project work, and knowing how to dive straight in. 
• Learning how conduct yourself in a professional manner; including pitches and presentations. 
• Contributing to the growth of Daintta by actively inputting into the company strategy and helping to shape our future

Skills/Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Relevant knowledge within the cyber security industry.
• Logical, methodical and creative approach to problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Eager to learn and grow with Daintta.
• You have, or eligibility and willingness to obtain, UK security clearance at SC level or higher.
• Programming knowledge in a chosen language and understanding of Cyber Security principles is desirable

Location?

Hybrid, with 2-3 days working from Daintta office (London/Cheltenham) or on client site as required

Due to the nature of this position, you must be willing and eligible to achieve a minimum of SC clearance. To qualify, you must be a British Citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
