  • Experts in banking, capital markets, payments and asset and wealth management.
  • Trusted advisors in core banking, securities and wealth management transformation, regulatory change, risk management and technology modernization.
  • A company dedicated to continuous development and excited to welcome top talent to help us drive innovation and deliver lasting results.
  • A business built on agility, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit.

THE ROLE

We are looking for experienced Cutover Managers to join a major core banking transformation for a Swiss private bank. As part of the central Cutover team, you will help plan and orchestrate the transition from the bank’s legacy environment to its new core banking platform.
This is a highly cross-functional role spanning business, technology, data migration, infrastructure, applications, testing, operations, and vendors. You will help turn a complex transformation into a controlled, executable and auditable cutover plan.
Successful Cutover Managers combine a strong understanding of the overall transformation with the ability to work through detailed activities and dependencies. You will bring structure to ambiguity, connect information across workstreams, identify gaps early, and drive clear ownership and decisions.

YOUR CAPCO DAY

  • Develop and maintain the integrated cutover plan and detailed execution runbook, coordinating activities across business, technology, data, infrastructure, applications, operations, and third parties.
  • Identify and manage dependencies, critical paths, prerequisites, constraints, and execution risks, challenging sequencing and timings and identifying opportunities to pre-stage, parallelize, and optimize activities.
  • Facilitate cutover planning workshops, dependency sessions and walkthroughs, while coordinating dress rehearsals and mock cutovers, capturing lessons learned and driving improvements.
  • Track cutover readiness, including milestones, checkpoints, sign-offs, entry and exit criteria, and go/no-go decisions, working closely with migration and reconciliation teams on data sequencing and time-sensitive banking processes.
  • Support the Cutover Command Centre during go-live, providing clear execution visibility, managing escalations and deviations, and coordinating the transition into hyper-care and stabilization with clear ownership of issues and operational risks.

YOUR CAPCO FIT

  • Experience in cutover, transition, release, migration, or complex implementation management within large-scale transformation programmes, with proven experience developing integrated cutover plans and execution runbooks involving multiple systems, teams, workstreams, and vendors.
  • Strong understanding of dependencies, critical paths, readiness, governance, and go/no-go processes, with experience coordinating dress rehearsals, migrations, and production go-lives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • A highly structured and detail-focused approach, with the ability to manage complex interdependencies, bring clarity to ambiguity, identify gaps early, and perform effectively during time-sensitive delivery periods.
  • Fluent English is essential for this role; German language skills would be an advantage.

BONUS POINTS FOR

  • Experience delivering core banking transformations or large-scale banking platform migrations.
  • Knowledge of banking processes and data, including accounts, securities, payments, trades, positions, fees, accruals, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with multi-wave or phased migration strategies, including associated financial control, reconciliation, and audit requirements.
  • Previous Swiss private banking experience.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale command centres / war rooms during production go-lives.

Ready to take the Next Step

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to make a difference and contribute to a highly successful company with a significant growth trajectory.
