Working with Customer Success, Sales, and subject matter experts, this role serves as a trusted customer advocate, manages competing priorities in a high-volume environment, and supports sustainable customer relationships and recurring revenue growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the end-to-end renewal process for the renewable digital software portfolio, prioritizing accounts by renewal date, annual recurring revenue, customer health, and risk.
- Engage customers well before subscription expiration, review usage and subscription history, assess risks, and recommend renewal options aligned with current and future needs.
- Prepare renewal quotes and coordinate their approval, execution, and processing in accordance with UL Solutions policies and procedures.
- Handle standard renewals independently and engage senior or cross-functional resources for complex or non-standard agreements.
- Maintain accurate customer activities, risks, opportunities, forecasts, and renewal information in CRM and customer success systems.
- Identify qualified expansion opportunities, including additional users, software, data offerings, and complementary renewable solutions.
- Collaborate across Customer Success, Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, and technical teams to resolve customer needs and deliver a coordinated experience.
- Share customer insights and market feedback with relevant teams and participate in customer events, departmental meetings, and industry groups as required.
- Perform other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, relationship-management, and organizational skills; strong English proficiency is required.
- Analytical, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience using CRM software.
Preferred:
- One to two years of experience in renewals, sales, account management, customer success, sales operations, or a related customer-facing B2B software role.
- Working knowledge of SaaS business models, including annual recurring revenue, subscriptions, pricing, discounts, and contract terms.
- Experience with quoting, forecasting, contract management, or customer success tools.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and interested in developing commercial and negotiation expertise.
