Put simply, our mission is to stay ahead of the curve and create a safer digital landscape for our partners, and we think adding a Customer Success Specialist – Microsoft Licensing will up our cyber game.

The CS Microsoft Licensing Executive will play a pivotal role in managing and advising on all aspects of Microsoft licensing for our customers. This includes ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and alignment with the latest Microsoft licensing programs. You will collaborate closely with our sales and customer success teams to deliver value-driven licensing strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and retention. 

What you’ll be doing.

Microsoft Licensing Expertise

  • Provide in-depth guidance on Microsoft licensing models, agreements, and programs, including enterprise agreements, cloud subscriptions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure), and volume licensing.
  • Educate clients on licensing best practices and help them navigate complex licensing structures.
  • Stay up-to-date on Microsoft licensing changes and proactively communicate their implications to clients and internal stakeholders.

Customer Advisory and Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them optimize their licensing investments and ensuring compliance.
  • Conduct regular licensing reviews to identify opportunities for cost savings and value maximization.
  • Assist in resolving licensing-related issues, including audits and renewals.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and Service Reviews to strengthen customer relationships, drive continuous improvement and demonstrate ROI and value to reduce churn and foster retention. 

Internal Collaboration and Enablement

  • Partner with sales and customer success teams to identify customer needs and deliver tailored licensing solutions.
  • Provide training and resources to internal teams on Microsoft licensing topics to enhance their ability to support clients.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Analyze licensing usage data to provide actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to support client decision-making and strategy development.

What does it take to succeed in this role? 

To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the tools, systems and knowledge requirements based on our existing environment:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft licensing programs, including enterprise agreements, Microsoft 365, Azure, and volume licensing.
  • Proven experience in a licensing, customer success, or sales support role, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex licensing data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, CRM platforms, and licensing management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals or higher (e.g., Azure, Microsoft 365).
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry or with SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with licensing for hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-centric attitude with a focus on delivering value.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
